ABOUT THE EVENT:

Welcome to Sellwood!

THIS IS A FREE GROUP EVENT! Take a relaxing run or walk through the historic, beautiful Sellwood neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. Catch picturesque views of Oaks Bottom Refuge, the Willamette River, Downtown Portland, and the beautiful neighborhood of downtown Sellwood!

The event benefits Sellwood Middle School & is open to ALL abilities and ages of participants. The 5K and 1.5 mile ask participants to adhere to traffic rules and obey traffic laws in the small neighborhood streets (entire course takes place on sidewalks and on a path alongside both Sellwood Park and the Oaks Bottom Bluff).

COURSE:

5K Course Map

The 5K is mostly an out and back course. It consists entirely of sidewalks and asphalt paths (no roads) and is mixed flat and hills with a challenging uphill climb at about half way through. The course takes participants along the Sellwood bluff over-looking Oaks Bottom, the Willamette River, and Downtown Portland.

1.5 Miler Course Map

The 1.5 miler takes participants on the same course but does not do the out and back. Instead, 1.5 mile participants will take a right on Malden and finish up where they started!

SCHEDULE:

8am:

Start of first group for 5K & 1.5 Miler

9am:

Start of second group for 5K & 1.5 Miler

10am-4pm:

Store kick-off party! Food, drinks, raffles, tour of the new store and more!
